CCS C8 Corvette Carbon Fiber Mode Selector Trim Overlay

I purchased the Paragon carbon fiber pieces to emulate GM’s carbon fiber package one. To install the two door pieces, I laid the pieces in first to make sure they aligned well. They do and all the carbon fiber matches perfectly with the factory 3LZ carbon steering wheel. After cleaning/removing red tape, make sure that you align up the TOP of the door pieces well, covering exposed aluminum.That is the part you will see the most. Then press into place. The hard part is the center mode selector piece. I suggest you DO NOT try and align the piece and then attempt to remove it for cleaning/tape removal. I slid it, from the drivers side, upfront and then pulled down towards the mode shifter. MAKE SURE before you press it in place to TOTALLY cover the upper aluminum housing trim of the buttons. Once that’s done, then press into place. The small 1” piece is a no brainer. The mode shifter will be a little tighter to turn due to the carbon piece. I’m waiting for the gage housing to go on sale before I purchase that so no comment on installation. If you follow Rick Conti there’s a 5% discount code on corvette parts. Couldn’t be more happy with this item, I combined it with the shifter trim and it really stands out. It was very simple to install, well worth the money.

The item is nice looking but very brittle and broke when I applied to my vehicle. A great deal of care is required to successfully install it.
