Paragon Performance Stage 1 Tune
The Paragon Performance Stage 1 tune for the C7 Corvette relies on upgrading the stock intake and then optimizing everything in the ECM to give you a good increase in power over the stock tune. While it certainly is possible to do just a tune on the C7 with a stock intake and still make some helpful improvements, we didn't find enough power to be gained without letting the engine breathe better with an upgraded air intake. While a tune alone certainly runs much better, we know that most people are going to want to see an increase in power if they are going to spend the money on a tune so that is why we chose to package our Stage 1 tune with an upgraded intake.
Flex Fuel Option:
If you wish to install a flex fuel kit, you can add on flex fuel tuning and we will tune your car for both pump gas and E85 mixtures using the input from the flex fuel sensor. There are a number of kits on the market available and E85 offers an additional 20 whp and 24 torque over pump gas.
Halltech Intake Option:
If you already have an intake on your C7, you can still use this tune and we can tune for your intake. If you do not have an intake then we recommend adding the Halltech Intake to get the most out of this tune.
Since this is a custom tune, we can also handle upgraded exhaust components during the tuning process.

- Custom Tuning
This is a custom tune done specifically for your vehicle, modifications and fuel type. We review datalogs and update the tune accordingly to accomplish this. In addition to an intake, our Stage 1 tune can also support exhaust upgrades.
- Increased Horsepower & Torque
Our custom tune file carefully increases the horsepower and torque of your C7 Corvette while still respecting the limits of the engine and keeping it running safely. We accomplish this by optimizing all the areas of the ECM mapping that can be recalibrated to increase performance.
- Better Throttle Response
With the better engine mapping comes better throttle response as well. We are also able to remove some throttle opening limits imposed by the stock mapping which allow the engine to full torque sooner.
- Reduced Detonation/Knock
It's no secret that the factory calibrations on GM's performance models are tuned pretty hot. They do produce a good amount of peak power but they also exhibit a large amount of detonation (or knock). The engines in these cars are known to be strong but exposing any engine to this kind of detonation will reduce the life of the pistons, cylinders and rod bearings. Our calibration greatly reduces this detonation by mapping in more appropriate fueling and timing curves while still achieving as much or more power across the entire powerband.

We've built extra safety margins into calibration that go above and beyond the GM approach. This ensures that no matter the ambient conditions or how hard you choose to drive your car, the tuning will adjust to meet this higher stress and keep the engine safe. You can feel good about taking your car to the road course or drag strip and not have to worry about extra wear and tear on the engine.

By optimizing everything in the ECU calibration and reducing the amount of detonation, we have created a tune that performs very consistently at all times no matter the conditions or use.
