The CT5-V Blackwing is the closest thing the current car market has to a proper American super sedan, and almost certainly the last one that'll ship with a supercharged V8 and a manual gearbox. CT5 Blackwing exhaust is where most owners start. The OEM system buries the LT4's actual voice behind valves and chambers, so a cat-back or axle-back swap unlocks most of it without the drone that ruins long highway pulls. Pair it with a tune and you'll feel the gains too.
The CT5-V Blackwing engine responds well to forced induction work. Pulley swaps and ported snouts free up flow without major surgery. Full supercharger upgrades push the platform past 800 wheel horsepower comfortably, and the LT4 stays drivable enough to run errands in.
