Got the intake to install at the same time I did the center exhaust conversion. The installation video was helpful and putting it on was fairly easy. Getting the old intake out on a HTC was more challenging. I got it out intact though I was worried because many influencers had to cut up their box and even damaged their car.
What worked for me and was fairly easy once I thought it through.
First of all remove your trunk lid so you can have your HTC service hatch open at same time as the trunk. Mark your hinge locations with a sharpie, and also your latch loop. Then remove everything. Shove your latch loop into the catch and let it suck it down so the car thinks your trunk is closed. Then open your HTC into service mode.
Then once your connectors are loose from the back and the throttle body boot is loose take the airbox lid off and filter out. Next remove the side intake tubes including the ones on the body. You need wiggle room. Lastly pull intake back and tip out from the bottom. Be patient. It will come out intact. Pull the bottom half out letting the top go back and you can work it out. I never could get it out trying to get the top side to pull out as it wouldn’t clear the opening.

Quality of intake is top notch and the clear bubble looks great. Cutting the carpet was no big deal and you can get creative if you want. Hole doesn’t have to match the large factory hole exactly. I had the upper follow the lines of the bubble slightly to break up the straight lines.
Intake sound is not noticeable over my new track exhaust so can’t comment on that.
