Paragon Performance C8 Corvette Touring Exhaust

Since I was struggling to find C8s with aftermarket exhausts in person, I'd like to write an in-depth review to help people who are in the same boat as I was. First, some backgrounds to understand my perspective. I was never a true sports car/America car guy. I owned a few Audis and BMWs before, so I am more used to more quiet, refined experience. I have also never had an aftermarket exhaust before. Now let's talk about the Paragon exhaust: Look: Absolutely killing the design. It's miles better looking than the OEM exhaust. The only other aftermarket option that I think look better is the Akrapovic, which cost 10 grands. Performance: You will notice the performance increase from weight reduction and the power gain. Sound: It sounds wonderful. From all the videos I can find for every single C8 aftermarket catbacks, this one is most unique and exotic sounding. I rev it under a bridge and it sounded almost like a lower-revving Z06 or some exotic cars from Italy. In cabin I can hear so much more, even with the windows close you can hear and feel all the notes. There are also a lot of subtle pops and burbles, which are not excessive. Comfort: Being a non-valve exhaust, you obviously pretty much lose the control of the sound level. You will feel the vibrations from the exhaust almost anytime you give it any levels of gas. In 2k - 3k range, the drones are very notifiable (may also due to the fact that I still need to break in with the exhaust a bit more). You will lose the quietness and refinement with the OEM exhaust, but it is not like unbearable. On highway, the exhaust note is still not as loud as the road noise if you keep it in the highest gear possible. The switch to V4 mode is actually not bothering me at all. Yes, it makes a funny noise when switching to it, but it's when it's going, I can't really hear much over the road noise. Overall, I'd give it a 9/10. The only drawback is I lose the valve and have to rise my volume up 2-3 more when I want to listen to music. It's totally worth the trade to get a much more engaging driving experience and the beautiful exotic sound.

This is my first time ever installing an exhaust or doing any type of modification to my car. The YouTube video made this installation super easy, its just time consuming. This exhaust is amazing and the c8 should of came like this from factory. Cold starts are loud, but quiets down once idling. For the first few rides, the exhaust had some drone. Then it went away, my guess is that the new gaskets had to go through a few heat cycles/breaking period. I personally only drive the car now on manual mode, because when the car switches to v4 it sounds weird to me. I haven't noticed a huge loss in mpg, probably 1 mpg. If you want your c8 to sound like a true sports/exotic car, this is the exhaust to get. I had some people give thumbs up to me during stop lights, but the best part is seeing their face once I rev it all the way :) You can't beat the price and quality Paragon provides with this exhaust.

My paragon exhaust is awesome. I was thinking of other exhaust but I only always wanted paragon. Always go with your first choice. by the way the sounds is awesome.
